What is your name and what is the exact meaning of it?

Please do not say "it was the name of the person who...". I don't really need to learn history and important people, I just would like to know what the meaning of your name is!

Vasilev, from Vasil, and that's from Basil, an emperor of the byzantine empire, the "ev" at the end is a russian suffix, i think.
