What is the meaning of your first name, what did it derive from, and do you think it suits you?

I really just want the Meanings. For example, the name Earl means "Noble Warrior" and is derived from old English. You don't have to tell me your real christian name, I am just curious about its meaning and whether or not you think it suits you. It's a silly question.

Reply:Grace of God and Pearl, put into one word. I'm very thankful for my name. I am a devout Christian.
Reply:My name is Lynsey and I keep reading 2 different meanings. It either is a Scottish surname (Lindsey) meaning pool island or comes from old English from the Linden Tree. Seeing as they don't describe a person but a tree and an island then I'd say nope, it doesn't describe me. I think I prefer the pool island one though. I was named after my big sister' friend.
Reply:It means Mountain and is of Hebrew origin.Does it suit me?Well i used to have a pair of mountains when i was younger so i suppose it did back then.I hated it but i am used to it now.
