What is the meaning of the name Fantausi?
Question Details: What does the name Fantausi mean? (I think that's how you spell it.) Or maybe it's spelled a little differently but it sounds the same. Anyway, and what is it's origins?
My dad says that it's probably Italian, but he's not too sure. And I've looked it up but I can't find it.

Fantauzzi (that's the correct spelling) is definitely an Italian last name. I'm not sure about the meaning, but I think it comes from "fante", which means "infantryman".
