My name is Lauren, and the meaning of the name varies depending on the source. Most sites say it means 'crowned with laurels'. If I take the meaning at face value, I don't relate to it at all. I mean, I've never even seen laurels. But a laurel crown or wreath essentially means 'victory' and triumph. It is also associated with success in academic persuits, which I identify with a lot since I'm a complete nerd.
